Hello everyone, I am the blogger Kaysters again. Today I would like to compare and contrast 3 different camps that I have been recommended. There are Camp Big Apple, Ranch West Camp, and Head Start Splash camp. I would like to find a camp that is the most suitable for me by comparing and contrasting all 3 camps.
Many people might want to learn English in foreign countries. Some of these programs might be beneficial but some might not.
The most important thing that I evaluate is whether parents follow me or not. The only camp that allows parents to come is the Head Start Splash. I have really bad homesickness. So if I am separated with my parents for at least 2 days, I feel homesick. However, if my parents follow me, it will be okay.
The other thing is which teachers teach me. Camp Big Apple has great professors who are Korean. The professors at least got a Masters degree from an American university. Some of them have Doctorate degree too. But I think those professors who teach university students won't be able to understand elementary students' minds. On the other hand, in Ranch West Camp, the classes are taught by recent graduates from the local university. This is not good because I think these teachers are having lack of experience so it is unappropriate. Both of the camps do not have the best teachers. Head Start Splash has local teachers with Bachelor's degrees and certificates to teach English as a second language. They have many experiences and also have certificates to teach English as a second language.
Camp Big Apple and Head Start Splash have too short or too long amount of time participating in the camp. However, Ranch West Camp is not as long as Head Start Splash but not as short as Camp Big Apple.
For these reasons, I think that Head Start Splash camp is the most appropriate camp for me because parents can follow me, and the teachers have many experiences and certificates to teach English as a second language.
